He has 25 years of experience in leading global organisations product design & development domain, especially polymer products. Heading various corporate multi-function and multi-cultural teams. Earlier worked with VIP Industries Ltd, world’s largest luggage manufacturer and at present working as Director – Technical at Apras group, Nashik. Excellent knowledge in Product Design and Development, various manufacturing processes and related engineering materials.
At present heading technical activity of Apras, consisting of Product design, Tool design, Tool manufacturing, Process Planning, Mechanisation and Automisation, Vendor Development, New Product development, New Process development, New Business development, Imports and Exports especially Chinese and European operations.
Along with Corporate job, actively collaborating with various educational institutes and government organizations. Has taken more than 6000 hours of lectures for various colleges and served in the examination committee of Pune University and YCMOU.
Responsible for capturing the customer need to mass production and everything in between, has deep understanding of design software’s, manufacturing process, quality systems and cost reduction tools.
Excellent knowledge of value addition process like texturing, painting, dual tone moulding, GAIN, WIM, Kanban, Kaizen, JIT etc.
Has widely travelled and have deep understanding of European and Chinese product development process. Responsible for aligning the global customer needs with product development strategy to fulfill longterm business plan.
